Making a cosplay can be a long tedious process. Because of that I like to turn it into a rhythmic process that lets me be more efficient and effective in my craft while keeping myself accountable for my deadlines. First and foremost, I draw out a diagram of the character and analyze each detail of the outfit (ex. sleeve type, colors, etc.). From there I decide what I want to add to make my cosplay unique and beautiful in my eyes that isn't canon to the source material (embroidery, glitter, etc.). This is the part of the journey where I decide how much I'm willing to spend on it. Cosplay is expensive. That's just a fact. I research places where I can get affordable materials and then purchase what I need to start off. That tends to be fabric, thread, and other basic materials. Once I finish that I can start work on researching techniques to tory and construction
